Well, I’ve been making some progress. What I appreciate about C.A.P.S. Creative Bingo is that it goes beyond filling in squares. It encourages us to reflect, create, reconnect with our roots, and support one another. I’m participating too, and these are the seven challenges I’ve completed.

Childhood Memory

I remember when life was simple, yet we had so little. When laughter came easy, even in the midst of struggle. We didn’t have everything we wanted, but we made memories with what we had. Looking back, those ordinary days were richer than we understood.

Growing up in the Virgin Islands, the sea breeze, hills, familiar voices, saltfish and johnny cakes were part of life. Respect, family, and community shaped my character.
