How to play
Complete any full row, column, or diagonal. You do not have to join the C.A.P.S. Facebook group to participate. Group members can complete group-based squares inside C.A.P.S.; website-only participants may use one of the public KVI alternatives below whenever a square specifically requires the Facebook group. Mark each square as you finish it. If you share a completed square publicly, use #CAPSCreativeBingo so the challenge can be followed across platforms. Keep links or screenshots when helpful, then upload your completed card using the official entry form below.
Do not want to join Facebook? You can still play. When a square says post or share, C.A.P.S. players do it inside the group; website-only players may post it on a public social profile, blog, or website they control and save the link. For squares that specifically require interaction with C.A.P.S. members, use one different public KVI activity instead:
- Read a KPC story and note what stayed with you.
- Discover a KVI Spotlight creator and note what caught your attention.
- Leave a thoughtful comment on a KVI article or creative feature where comments are available.
- Visit KPC Issue 3 and identify a piece or creator you discovered.
- Create a short response to something you found on KVI and keep it with your completed card.
Fair-play rule: use each website substitute only once per completed Bingo line.
The goal is genuine participation, not speed. No purchase is required. Creative Bingo recognition is based on the quality of participation, creativity, and support shown to other creators. Awards are not selected by random drawing.

What does C.A.P.S. mean?
C.A.P.S. stands for Cultures of Art, Poetry & Short Stories, a creative community centered on sharing work, discovering other creators, and encouraging meaningful participation across different forms of art and expression.
Can I participate without joining the C.A.P.S. Facebook group?
Yes. Joining the Facebook group is optional. If a Bingo square specifically requires a C.A.P.S. group activity, use one of the website-only substitutes listed in the How to Play section instead. Complete the substitute, mark that square, and keep any helpful note, link, or screenshot with your card. Website-only participants use the same completion rules and the same submission form as everyone else.
Where do I complete the Bingo activities?
If you are playing through C.A.P.S., complete post, share, and member-interaction squares inside the Facebook group. If you are playing website-only, post or share items on a public social profile, blog, or website you control and save the link; use the listed KVI alternatives for squares that require interaction with C.A.P.S. members. Squares that name KVI Network, Krafty Page ChronicleS, or kvinc.org are completed on the linked KVI page.
What counts as a thoughtful or meaningful comment?
A meaningful comment says something specific about the creator’s work. Instead of only writing “Nice” or using an emoji, mention what stood out, what you felt, what you noticed, or what the piece made you think about.
Do I have to complete the whole card?
No. One complete row, column, or diagonal counts as one completed line. You can also complete multiple lines or go for a full blackout.
How do I mark my Bingo card?
Screenshot or save the card before you begin, then mark each square as you complete it. You can use your phone’s photo-editing tools, a drawing app, or any simple method that makes the completed squares clear.
Do I need proof for every square?
You do not need to turn the challenge into paperwork. Keep links or screenshots for activities that involve posting, commenting, sharing, or visiting a specific KVI page. The goal is genuine participation, not catching people out.
Can I use the same C.A.P.S. member for several squares?
Try not to. The purpose of the challenge is to help members discover and support more people across the group, so spread your interaction around whenever possible.
What can I win, and how are awards decided?
The Creative Community Champion receives a choice of a $50 gift card or a signed print issue of Krafty Page ChronicleS, plus a KVI Network Creator Spotlight. Additional recognition may be given for Community Connector and Creative Voice. Awards are based on genuine participation, thoughtful engagement, creativity, support of other creators, and overall quality of participation. They are not selected by random drawing.
