KVI NETWORK · COMMUNITY & PUBLISHING
Community House Rules & Publishing Standards
Many cultures. Many voices. One standard of respect.
KVI Network brings together writers, poets, artists, photographers, and thinkers from different cultures and experiences. Creative freedom, honest attribution, professional conduct, and respect for one another are the foundation of this community.
Effective September 20, 2026 · KVI Network Creations, LLC
Our principle: We do not demand agreement; we require integrity. We do not silence cultural differences; we protect the right to express them responsibly. We do not promise every voice publication; we promise every contributor a respectful editorial process.
01 · Who these rules cover
These standards apply to KVI Network members, authors, contributors, editors, collaborators, and visitors participating in comments, profiles, messages, creative submissions, or KVI-hosted publication spaces. Separate submissions and magazine calls may have additional eligibility or format rules; the public Submit Your Work form is for adults age 18 and older.
02 · Different cultures, shared respect
We welcome different nationalities, ethnicities, languages, beliefs, identities, traditions, and experiences. Do not use KVI to target people with racist, xenophobic, religious, gender-based, disability-based, or other discriminatory harassment; degrading cultural stereotypes directed at contributors; or calls for hatred or violence against people or groups.
Works that critically portray prejudice, historical injustice, colonialism, religion, identity, or other difficult subjects can be considered when the context serves a genuine literary, artistic, educational, or analytical purpose. Discussing harmful ideas is not automatically endorsing them.
03 · Debate ideas without attacking people
Civil disagreement, literary criticism, cultural discussion, and diverse philosophical perspectives are welcome. Threats, bullying, targeted humiliation, intimidation, persistent unwanted contact, doxxing, and retaliation against a person who raises a good-faith concern are not.
Critique a work or claim; do not attack its creator’s dignity.
04 · Submit work you have the right to share
Do not plagiarize, impersonate a creator, remove authorship credits, or submit protected writing, images, translations, music, photographs, or other third-party materials without the required permissions or applicable legal basis. Clearly credit quoted sources, collaborators, translators, and the creators of accompanying art. Do not falsely describe your role in a joint work.
Creators retain ownership of their original contributions subject to the existing KVI Copyright Policy and any separate written agreement. Sending work for consideration does not guarantee publication.
05 · Disclose meaningful AI involvement
Disclose when AI substantially generated or transformed written passages, imagery, audio, or other submitted creative content. Explain what was human-created and what was AI-assisted so readers and editors can understand the contribution. Ordinary spelling and grammar checks do not need to be presented as AI authorship, but contributors remain responsible for accuracy, originality, permissions, and truthful credits.
KVI may consider AI-assisted work case by case and may require more information or decline work that does not meet a particular publication’s creative standards. Do not label substantially AI-generated material as entirely human-created.
06 · Content KVI will not host
We do not allow content whose purpose is to threaten or encourage violence; exploit or sexualize minors; facilitate fraud, harassment, or criminal exploitation; expose private information without permission; recruit for violent extremism; distribute pornography; or give actionable instructions for dangerous wrongdoing. Gratuitously graphic material may be declined.
Work exploring trauma, abuse, grief, discrimination, and other difficult realities is not automatically prohibited. Editorial staff may request contextual framing, revisions, age-appropriate placement, or content notices.
07 · Respect professional boundaries
Do not pressure members to collaborate, demand favorable reviews or publication, claim editorial authority you do not have, make fraudulent solicitations, retaliate over revisions or rejection, or use KVI to conduct personal vendettas. Paid services, partnerships, conflicts of interest, and promotional arrangements should be disclosed when relevant.
08 · Editorial review and author privileges
An Author account provides access to publishing tools; it is not a promise that every submission is an approved KVI or Krafty Page ChronicleS publication. KVI may review, edit for agreed presentation and accessibility, request revisions or sourcing, ask for content notices, verify permissions and credits, defer publication, or decline material that does not meet its standards.
Authors must follow any applicable editorial workflow and obtain approval when required. Do not remove required disclosures, change someone else’s credited work, or publish under another person’s name without permission.
09 · Cultural voice and intellectual freedom
Distinctive dialects, native languages, cultural styles, satire, fiction, poetic metaphor, and dissenting perspectives are welcome. We do not require cultural sameness or agreement on religion, philosophy, or social questions. The distinction is between thoughtful expression and targeted abuse or deception.
10 · Accuracy when making factual claims
When presenting reporting, biography, history, research, or interviews as factual, distinguish evidence from opinion and creative interpretation. Do not invent quotations attributed to real people, fabricate interviews or sources, misrepresent professional credentials, falsely claim awards, or knowingly make deceptive factual assertions. Fiction and satire may use invention when their nature is reasonably clear.
11 · Promotion, privacy, and confidentiality
Share relevant books, websites, art, and projects in appropriate spaces, but do not post unsolicited repetitive advertising, deceptive links, spam, or fraudulent sales solicitations. Do not reveal unpublished submissions, private editorial notes, private messages, contact details, or other personal information without appropriate permission. Never include passwords, financial credentials, or unnecessary identifying documents in submissions.
12 · Reporting and fair review
Report suspected violations through KVI’s Contact Us page and provide the relevant URL, the issue, and any context you are comfortable sharing. Do not publish confidential personal data in a public complaint. KVI may request additional information and will consider context, safety, the rights of involved creators, and the seriousness and recurrence of the behavior. KVI cannot guarantee a particular result or a specific response time.
13 · Consequences and reconsideration
Depending on the circumstances, KVI may issue a written notice, ask for corrections, add context or disclosures, withhold or remove a submission, temporarily restrict publishing access, or revoke membership or author privileges. For serious safety, privacy, or exploitation concerns, immediate protective action may be necessary. Where appropriate, affected members may request reconsideration through the same contact channel; KVI reviews the request without promising a reversal.
14 · Agreement and related policies
By registering or submitting work, you are expected to follow these Community House Rules & Publishing Standards. Read them with KVI’s Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, Copyright Policy, Accessibility Statement, and the requirements of the relevant submission opportunity. If a separate signed publishing agreement applies, its terms govern that agreed relationship. KVI may update these rules and indicate a revised date on this page.
Before you register or submit
Read and follow these standards. An account or submission is not guaranteed acceptance into a magazine, blog, spotlight, or other KVI publication.
