Wanda, I opened that door, and it took me to a place that looked like everything I ever wanted, but it wasn’t long before I realized it was testing me in ways I didn’t expect. It felt like everything was right at first—success, peace, all the things I’ve worked for. But as I moved through it, I had to face truths about myself I wasn’t ready for, the kind of challenges that remind you how much you’ve sacrificed. It felt like the tough lessons from my Marine days, where every decision carries weight. Coming back, I saw things differently. That world showed me that true growth doesn’t come from getting everything you think you want—it’s about knowing what truly matters and being willing to fight for it, no matter what.
