nVeeism Challenge Entries
Read the entries without names, profiles, follower counts, or personal links. Each qualifying submission is assigned an entry number so the work can speak before the creator is revealed.
Main $50 winner = judged separately • Community Choice = public recognition
HOW IT WORKS
Anonymous first. Identities later.
Entries appear as Entry #001, Entry #002, Entry #003, and so on. Names, profile photos, social handles, and identifying links are withheld during the anonymous review period.
Creator names will be revealed after the review and voting period closes and results are finalized.
MAIN WINNER
Judged Creative Prize
The $50 prize winner is selected using the published judging criteria: originality, depth, creative expression, and meaningful connection to the artwork. Public popularity does not determine this winner.
COMMUNITY CHOICE
Public Recognition
Community voting will recognize one anonymous entry as the Community Choice selection. This recognition is separate from the judged $50 winner and does not change the main prize decision.
ENTRY GALLERY
Entries will appear here as they are approved for anonymous review.
OFFICIAL JUDGED ENTRY
Between Two Worlds
I stand where two worlds divide—
one warm with memory,
one cold with questions
I have not learned to answer.
Faces rise from broken walls,
not quite people,
not quite ghosts,
but thoughts that refused
to disappear.
There are doors everywhere,
yet none of them promise
where they lead.
I used to think becoming
was a straight road—
a clean line
from who I was
to who I would be.
But growth looks different here.
It looks like fragments.
Like shadows sharing space with light.
Like carrying old versions of yourself
through unfamiliar rooms.
I see the person I was,
the person others expected,
and someone unfinished
standing quietly between them.
The darkness does not win.
The light does not conquer.
They simply exist together,
asking me to choose
what I will carry forward.
Maybe identity
was never meant to be
a finished portrait.
Maybe we are made
from memory, fear, longing,
mistakes, open doors,
and the courage
to keep walking.
So when I look again,
I do not see an ending.
I see someone
choosing which pieces
of themselves
deserve to become tomorrow.
Eligible for Judging • Community Choice
COMMUNITY CHOICE VOTING
One gallery. One Community Choice ballot.
Each anonymous entry card will include a Vote for This Entry button. Those buttons will lead to one centralized ballot so every qualifying entry appears in the same voting system instead of using separate polls.
Voters will select one entry for Community Choice. Vote totals will remain unpublished during the voting period so early results do not influence later voters.
The ballot will open after at least two qualifying entries are available. Community Choice voting remains completely separate from the judged $50 prize.
BALLOT NOT OPEN YET
The Community Choice ballot will appear here once eligible entries are ready for voting.
Fairness note
Any entry that reveals the creator’s identity inside the work may be lightly redacted for the anonymous display only. The original submission remains unchanged in KVI’s private records.
