The KVI Keys: $20 Hidden Chronicle Quest — Official Rules
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A purchase, donation, subscription, or payment of any kind does not improve an entrant’s score or eligibility.
1. Sponsor
The KVI Keys: $20 Hidden Chronicle Quest is sponsored by KVI Network Creations, LLC (“KVI”).
2. Eligibility
The Quest is a global event, open to individuals worldwide who are at least 18 years old at the time of entry, including participants in the United States and international communities. Void where prohibited or restricted by applicable law. KVI personnel directly involved in administering or judging the Quest, and their immediate family or household members, are not eligible.
3. Quest Period
The Quest opens September 13, 2026 at 12:00 noon U.S. Eastern Time (ET; EDT during daylight saving time) and closes September 18, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. U.S. Eastern Time (ET; EDT during daylight saving time). Entries received after the closing time will not be considered.
4. How to Enter
Entry is free. During the Quest period, an eligible participant must locate five official KVI Keys across designated KVI and Nelly Vee web properties, collect the five fragments in order, assemble the completed sentence, leave one qualifying public comment on the official hunt post, and submit the completed sentence privately through the official KVI Quest Entry page. Limit one entry per person. Automated, duplicate, incomplete, copied, or fraudulent entries may be disqualified.
5. Required Public Comment
The public comment must answer: “Which world in the KVI quest changed how you saw the work, and what did you notice there?” Do not reveal any Key word, clue, or final answer in the comment. Spoilers may be removed to preserve a fair experience for other participants.
6. Skill-Based Judging
A participant must first submit the correct completed sentence and satisfy the entry requirements. Qualifying public comments will then be judged on originality and thoughtfulness — 40%; relevance to the question — 30%; and clarity and impact — 30%. The highest-scoring eligible entry will be selected as the potential winner. If entries tie, the higher originality and thoughtfulness score will decide the tie; if still tied, the higher clarity and impact score will decide it.
7. Prize
One prize of $20 USD cash will be awarded. Approximate retail value: $20 USD. The prize will be delivered electronically through PayPal or another mutually agreed electronic payment method that KVI can reasonably support. Entrants should not submit financial account credentials through public comments or the entry form.
8. Winner Notification and Claim
The potential winner will be contacted using the email address submitted with the private entry. The potential winner must respond and complete reasonable eligibility verification within 5 calendar days of the first notification. If the potential winner is ineligible, cannot be contacted, declines the prize, or does not complete the claim process by the deadline, KVI may select the next highest-scoring eligible entry.
9. Original Response and Conduct
The required public comment must be the entrant’s own response. KVI may disqualify entries that interfere with the Quest, impersonate another person, reveal protected answers publicly, manipulate submissions, or contain unlawful or infringing material.
10. Privacy
Information submitted privately will be used to administer the Quest, match the entrant to the required public comment, communicate with entrants, verify eligibility, and award the prize. Entrants should not submit Social Security numbers, passwords, banking credentials, government identification numbers, or other unnecessary sensitive information.
11. Technical and Administrative Conditions
KVI may reasonably modify, suspend, or cancel the Quest if fraud, technical failure, security problems, legal restrictions, or other circumstances materially prevent fair administration. Any material change will be posted on the official Quest page.
12. Taxes and Costs
The winner is responsible for any taxes or personal costs associated with accepting the prize unless applicable law requires otherwise.
