Abuse: The Destroyer of Families

Where Does Change Begin?

Mental and physical abuse are prevalent among men, and it will never change unless we change it.

The problem is, we are living what we see and what is taught.

The truth is, we are still living in the past, not the present.

No one likes to be hit or abused, but as men, we need to channel our anger somewhere else—

other than on our women, regardless of the circumstances.

I understand that women may sometimes anger us, but instead of raising our hands at them

or even hitting them, the best thing to do is walk away.

They’ve got the law on their side, and we do not.

Black men, our women are getting sick and tired of the abuse they have endured at our hands.

Black women, our men are also sick and tired of being verbally and, more so, physically abused.

The point is, let’s sit and discuss our differences instead of fighting about them.
