Dear God, I beg you to bless all the ladies
from here and across the face of the earth
they are sweeter than the beautiful daisies
and are true nurturers from their birth
This prayer is for the mothers, aunts and sisters
who care for their friends and family
these ladies are dedicated caretakers
who do their duty cheerfully and happily
To all the ladies around the world today
Bless their dear and giving hearts, Lord
They may have pain in some way
and may need motivation from Your Word
Bless them with every step they take
Comfort them with their varying heartaches
Help them with every decision they make
All of this I pray in your name’s sake
AMEN

Reading Linette Rabsatt’s heartfelt prayer, I am reminded of the profound impact women have had on my own life. Their strength, resilience, and unconditional love have shaped who I am today. Linette’s words beautifully capture the essence of womanhood—nurturers by nature, often bearing silent burdens while still giving selflessly to others. Her prayer highlights the often-unseen sacrifices women make and calls for divine comfort and strength for their hearts and spirits. As a father, a leader, and a man who’s been blessed by the care of remarkable women, this prayer resonates deeply with me. It’s a humbling reminder of how often women carry the weight of the world with grace, even when they themselves are in need of care. The call to honor and uplift their contributions inspires me to be more intentional in showing gratitude and support for the women in my life and community. This piece isn’t just a prayer; it’s a testament to the divine beauty and strength in women, a strength that deserves to be celebrated and cherished every day. Linette’s prayer challenges us all to reflect, give thanks, and stand in solidarity with the women who make the world brighter and better.
