Had me on the edge of my seat. I liked how the story eventually connected the relationship the characters all had. It felt like it was Armageddon and the end times were here with those left behind trying to survive. Can't wait to read the second book.

Reflection on Dark Haze: The Island
Dear Readers,
This book holds a special place in my heart, as it was born from a vivid dream I had just before the COVID epidemic swept through our lives. That dream sparked a fire in me, and the very next day, I began writing. I didn’t plan or outline; I simply let the vision pour out onto the page.
What makes Dark Haze: The Island unique is its foundation—a mixture of truth and fiction. I wove pieces of my life, my family, and my imagination into the storyline, creating something deeply personal yet universal. You’ll notice familiar names, like Destynè, and pieces of my own experiences embedded in this futuristic world. These elements give the story a heartbeat, connecting the fantastical with the real.
My writing style is unlike most, and that’s intentional. I’ve always had an issue with sounding like other authors. So, instead of following a formula, I chose to embrace my own voice, crafting a style that blends creativity and authenticity. It may feel different—perhaps even unconventional—but it’s purely me.
Set in the year 2060, Dark Haze: The Island takes you into a world ruled by the BUG regime, where survival and truth are hard-fought battles. It’s a dystopian thriller, yes, but it’s also a reflection of resilience and the human spirit’s fight against oppression. Writing this story was not only a creative journey but also an emotional one, as I explored themes of freedom, betrayal, and the cost of uncovering the truth.
