Krafty Page Chronicles invites you to submit to Volume II of Across the Water. Celebrate love, heritage, and culture, rooted in Caribbean experience but open to voices from the US and worldwide.
Your story matters—fellas, don’t be shy!Love, heritage, and perspective belong to everyone—guys, we’re listening!

Submission Timeline
Submissions Open: February 1, 2026
Submissions Close: February 28, 2026
Review & Selection: March 1 – March 14, 2026
Design & Layout: March 15 – March 28, 2026
Magazine Launch: March 30 – April 1, 2026
Who Can Submit?
CAPS group members (first call exclusivity).
Writers, poets, visual artists, and storytellers from Caribbean roots, the US, or global diaspora.
Anyone whose work reflects heritage, migration, cultural memory, or lived experience.
What Can You Submit?
Writing & Poetry: Personal essays, short stories, or poems exploring love, heritage, struggle, and cultural memory (Essays: 400–600 words | Poems: max 250 words).
Visual Art: Painting, photography, or illustration reflecting culture, resilience, or metaphorical “roses and thorns” (High-res, 300 dpi).
Community Spotlight: Nominate someone in your community whose impact deserves recognition (250–300 words).
Suggested Themes
Love inherited or carried across water or generations.
Culture surviving struggle, adaptation, or diaspora.
Roses and thorns: beauty and resilience through challenge.
Contrarian perspectives on poetry, writing, publishing, or genres.
Include your name, location, category, and a 50-word bio.
Include up to three images only: one bio picture + up to two project images (current or upcoming projects).
Upload your writing or art files directly in the form.
Why Submit?
Preserve culture and amplify your story.
Showcase your art, writing, or community projects.
Share perspectives often unseen, including male voices and experimental styles.
Extra Notes
Original work only; submissions may be lightly edited for clarity and layout.
Bold, experimental, and honest work is encouraged.

CAPS members, your voice matters. Submit via the Google Form first, before we open submissions to the wider public. Share your story, your art, your projects, or nominate someone whose work deserves recognition. Across the Water honors resilience, beauty, and culture—let’s preserve it together.
Submission Review: All submissions will be reviewed by the editorial team. We reserve the right to accept or reject any submission.
