Mothers body

A Mother’s Body: Built Tough! Beauty Remains!

My body is poetry, just read in-between the lines,

After 9 months of carrying a growing being, my body STILL shines!

I went through so much pain to gain these stripes,

And they come in all different sizes and types.

My body doesn’t define me as a woman,

It just adds to or subtracts from my new cushion.

I am STILL a strong woman,

Rather, I do this with help, or alone.

My strength in this hard time will be shown.

How do I do this?

How did I survive that?

With my mental,

We are built for combat.

You see, your beauty is still there,

It’s just under the blanket of guilt you wear.

Don’t ever give up, cry if you need!

Your body is poetry,

In between these lines they must read.
